Discover Cala d’Or: The White Charm of Santanyí

Located on Mallorca’s south-eastern coast, within the municipality of Santanyí, Cala d’Or is one of the island’s most distinctive seaside destinations. Originally inspired by Ibizan architecture, its simple lines and whitewashed façades create a striking contrast with the green pine trees and the deep blue of the Mediterranean.

Turquoise coves and nature

Cala d’Or is built around a collection of sheltered coves with clear water and light-coloured sand, ideal for family days by the sea and a variety of water activities. Some of the best known include Cala Gran, Cala Petita, Cala Esmeralda and Cala Egos. Just a short drive away lies Mondragó Natural Park, a protected natural area with walking trails through pine forests and some of the region’s best-known beaches, including S’Amarador.

Cala d’Or Marina

The marina is one of Cala d’Or’s main meeting points. Around the harbour you will find waterfront restaurants, terraces for relaxed summer evenings and a selection of shops, all within a peaceful and family-friendly atmosphere.

Traditional Santanyí

A short drive inland, the town of Santanyí retains a distinctly Mallorcan character. Its golden-stone buildings, galleries, independent shops and weekly market offer another way to discover the island’s food, crafts and local way of life.

Cala d’Or brings together Mediterranean tranquillity, a welcoming family atmosphere and an excellent location for exploring some of the most beautiful beaches and landscapes in southern Mallorca.
